Helpful Information

Welcome to our nursery! We know that leaving your baby can be overwhelming, but know that our nursery provides you a safe, clean, and loving environment for your baby during our services. The volunteers in our infant classrooms have been chosen for this age group because of their love for babies and their training to care for all of the needs of your infant. We hope the following information will help you and your baby have a great experience on Sundays.

Where do I go?

Great question! We do have convenient parking for our families with children less than 1 year of age. Just follow the purple nursery parking signs when you arrive at our campus.

Review the map showing our location below. But all you need to do is stop at any information table, check- in kiosk location, or the nursery, and a helpful volunteer will take you through all our registration steps.

Registration

In order to be aware of your child’s individual needs, we ask that all parents complete a kiosk check in registration form and a nursery “care” card when visiting.  This simply helps us in taking care or your child in the best possible way.  Please answer all questions and give any additional information that we may need to know in order to better care for your baby.

Illness Policy

For the safety of all our little ones, we do ask that you do not bring your child to the Nursery if he/she is or has recently been sick. Remember, other children will be present, and they may become infected as well.

Some signs of illness in a child are: unusual fatigue or irritability, coughing, sneezing, runny nose and eyes, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, inflamed mouth and throat, unusual drowsiness, loss of appetite, or hoarseness.

If your child has had any of these symptoms in the last 48 hours, you may bring your child with you to our service. We have baby rooms located to the sides of the main sanctuary for your convenience, so that you don’t miss the service should your little one get a little fussy.

Contact System

For the well-being of our babies (and parents!), TRBC offers convenient contact system. When you bring your child to our Nursery, you will have the option to either take a pager or give us your cell phone number for notification purposes. A tag will also be printed for you. One half will be given to you, and a duplicate number will be placed on your baby’s bed. No one will be allowed to pick up your baby without presenting the pager or the corresponding tag to the Nursery Supervisor.

If any problems occur while caring for your child during the service, we will notify you. Simply come to the Nursery and one of our team will assist you.

Alert System

For the well-being of our babies (and parents!), TRBC offers a state-of-the-art alert system. This system is for the protection of your child. If you choose to take a pager, please be careful not to misplace it.

If any problems occur while caring for your child during the service, your pager will vibrate. Simply come to the Nursery and the worker will assess the situation with you.

Baby Dedications

Our baby dedications are a special time for our families and new babies. As a church, we come together during our Sunday morning services to celebrate new life and to commit to parent our new children with a purpose of seeing them follow Christ.

If you are interested in registering for an upcoming baby dedication Sunday, please click here to sign up and receive some more information.

Classroom Ratios

To ensure your baby receives the best care, we adhere to a one volunteer for every three children ratio.

Moving Up

When your child starts crawling, he will move up to a crawler room, and when he starts walking, we will move him up to a toddler room. Your child’s teacher will communicate with you before this change is made.
