If you are planning on attending an upcoming service here at TRBC and you have a child from 0 to 2 1/2 we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your baby to the Thomas Road Nursery! We want every family and baby to enjoy their time worshipping our Lord here at TRBC. Because of that we have some suggestions to make you and your baby’s time with us memorable. Below is some helpful information regarding our nursery that we hope will answer any of your questions. But feel free to contact us if any question goes unanswered.
Sunday 8:45 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.
Sunday 4:45 p.m. — 7:40 p.m.
Wednesday 6:15 p.m. — 7:30 p.m.
In order to be aware of your child’s individual needs, we ask that all parents complete an enrollment card when visiting. This simply helps us in taking care or your child in the best possible way. Please answer all questions and give any additional information that we may need to know in order to better care for your baby.
The Nursery is often the first impression a family has of our church. We want your baby’s first church experience to be warm and meaningful. So, we provided a safe and clean environment. Each bed and toy are carefully cleaned and sanitized every week. We try to meet the needs of each baby by dividing the children by age groups.
For the safety of all our little ones, we do ask that you do not bring your child to the Nursery if he/she is sick. Remember, other children will be present, and they may become infected as well. Some signs of illness in a child are: unusual fatigue or irritability, coughing, sneezing, runny nose and eyes, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, inflamed mouth and throat, unusual drowsiness, loss of appetite, or hoarseness. You may bring your child with you to our service, and we have crying rooms located to the sides of the main sanctuary.
For the well-being of our babies (and parents!), TRBC offers a state-of-the-art alert system. When you bring your child to our Nursery, you will have the option to either take a pager or give us your cell phone number for notification purposes. A tag will also be printed for you. One half will be given to you, and a duplicate number will be placed on your baby’s bed. No one will be allowed to pick up your baby without presenting the pager or the corresponding tag to the Nursery Supervisor. This system is for the protection of your child. If you choose to take a pager, please be careful not to misplace it.
If any problems occur while caring for your child during the service, your pager will vibrate. Simply come to the Nursery and the worker will assess the situation with you.

Here are some maps of the rooms on the floors in the buildings to use as a reference. Fret not, we have friendly folks at the Welcome Center and walking throughout the campus wearing “How can I help you” lanyards that can get you where you need to go!
