Jayne was born in Ontario, Canada and at the age off 10, her family moved to Lynchburg, Virginia. A graduate of Liberty Christian Academy and Liberty University, Jayne pursued dreams that were attached to her love for kids and serving in the local church through dramatic arts and storytelling. After teaching elementary school for many years, she landed in children’s ministry at a church in Virginia Beach. God confirmed that this is what was next for her. God’s journey brought her full circle, back to her family and her home church to do ministry and release her passions on the kids and families at Thomas Road Baptist Church. Her son Grayson is the brightest star in her life and chocolate and raspberries bring a smile to her face.
You might recognize Jarrod from Route 45 or Inside Out on Wednesday nights. He came to our team as a volunteer in Route 45 and spent a summer as an intern. Since graduating with a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry: Worship, he has brought to the team a passion for serving Jesus and growing in his own journey as a disciple of Christ. He loves to worship God in many ways and brings that enthusiasm to teaching kids how to worship in all areas of their lives. Jarrod loves mentoring students and volunteers. You may catch him building relationships over a game of 4-sqaure or hitting chains out on the disc golf course. Jarrod is a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan after growing up in the Midwest, which is also where he met his wife Nicole.
